Weather
The average temperature in St. Lucia ranges from 70 degrees Fahrenheit to the upper 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity on the island averages between 70 percent and 90 percent throughout the year. December through January are generally the coolest months with the temperatures being in the mid 70s to mid 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The summer months of June through August are the hottest in St. Lucia where temperatures in the mid to upper 90s Fahrenheit are not uncommon.

Currency
The official currency is the EC (Eastern Carribean) dollar. US dollars, Canadian Dollars and British Pounds are also accepted.

Electricity
Electricity throughout St. Lucia is 220 Volts 50 Hz. Visitors from the United States and parts of Europe, however, may need electrical adaptors.

Time
St. Lucia does not observe daylight-saving time, so between April and October, St. Lucia follows Eastern Standard Time. From October through April, St. Lucian time is one hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time.

Languages
The official language of St. Lucia is English.
